Top and bottom sashes are replaced with identical matching astragals and horns made of hardwood with 'k' glass argon filled double glazed units, the weights are balanced, draughtproofing added and security locks and fasteners fitted, all primed ready for painting.

Draught Proof & Service
Our draught proofing service incorporates the most efficient system used to date and includes: new staff beads and parting beads (traditional timber moulding), sash cord replacement, routed centre rails, rebalancing sashes, joint strengthening. This draught proofing service will improve heat retention, ensure the safe operation of the sliding sashes and reduce noise and dust intrusion (especially on loose fitting sashes).
Sliding Sashes
When incorporated into existing frames our sash windows greatly improve heat values and noise intrusion as well as noticeably reducing condensation.
Using the latest technologies our sliding sash offerings include: treated joinery,

Complete Replacement
Complete replacement of sash windows is required if the existing windows have deteriorated beyond economic repair, or have been removed for a modern type replacement.
